Elsabet said, "Today was Fire Safety Day.  We made firefighters and we wrote speech bubbles about fire safety.  The firefighters came and they taught us about firefighting and keeping our homes safe. When I get home, I will figure out a safe meeting place if there is a fire at my house."

Jack said, "Today my mom came to listen to our reading group read in our classroom and in our reading group with Mrs. Barrow.  Her name is Ashley Rider Mattingly."
